Browser Extension Privacy Policy

Introduction

This page describes the Privacy Policy that applies to all information collected or submitted when you install or use the Document Sending browser extension.

Document Sending is owned and operated by Boss Insights – a company from Canada (referred to herein as “we”, “us”, or “our”). We take the protection of your data very seriously and will always offer you the Document Sending extension and its functionality with your privacy in mind.

Handing Data

The extension communicates with Boss Insights servers to ensure functionality of the features of the extension. To provide extraction and processing of your business data such as payroll, tax transcripts or other business documents we retrieve page content, URLs, cookies and other browsing data required to transfer and verify the integrity of the information your share when using the “Send” functionality provided by the extension. The information you share is transfered to servers controlled by Boss Insights located in either the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom.

To transmit information you must log in to our servers. All data is transmitted and stored securely.

To ensure quality of service, requests to our servers are logged. These logs contain your IP address and are stored for no longer than 180 days, but usually 90 days.
